 The first look at the phone from May 3rd was a joyous occasion, even if you didn’t think it lived up to your expectations. The Galaxy S3 specs are also in and now we officially know about most of its features and performance specs. The ones that really got us going are the lovely 4.8 inch display and the introduction of S-Voice and S-Beam. What is your opinion on what you’ve seen so far?  USA Galaxy S3 Prices and Release Date

 Do you remember the launch of the Galaxy S2 in the USA? It wasn’t the best one, and it took a very long time for the phone to even get into that market. If someone is to blame for that failure, then Samsung says it is the Carriers and bad management (but whose we don’t know). History shouldn’t repeat itself, but it seems like the same mistakes are being made all over again. The last S phone was eventually featured on all carriers except for Verizon, who instead got a exclusive right to be the only one to get the Galaxy Nexus. This time, however, the S3 will grace all carriers, including them, but probably in different forms and models, and of course at different prices.

Galaxy S3 Carriers in the USA and Release Date

 If you want to be updated by Samsung themselves on the release of the device in the USA then you can use their registration page to get all the inside news on the launches and exclusive offers as soon as they are made. All the big names, and some smaller ones are listed as the carriers and this list includes:

• AT&T
• C Spire Wireless
• Metro PCS
• Sprint
• T-Mobile
• US Cellular
• Verizon

Samsung Galaxy S3 Release Date and Price in Canada

 Tech enthusiasts in Canada won’t exactly be thrilled by the news that Samsung is yet to announce a list of official carriers or give too much info in that field. However, things have shown that getting the problem won’t be a problem no matter what you network preferences are. It is almost certain that at least these names will be among the official carriers:

• Bell Mobility
• Telus
• Rogers Wireless

 There is a speculation that SaskTel or Wind Mobile may enter the list as well since they already missed out on the previous S series model. If you want to be updated by Samsung themselves, then register yourself at their main Samsung Canada S3 page so you can get an email about the release and the offers the carriers will give. The hardware versions will certainly be presented in the same way as they were with the USA model we talked about above. There will surely be a 3G and 4G LTE versions, with the latter most likely featuring a much different processor than the quad-core Exynos. This will probably be a SnapDragon S4, like we stated above.

 As for the release date, the marketing team is keeping the tension, yet they did announce that the phone will have a summer release. This will probably be somewhere around the same time as the USA release, which is still unknown and filled with a veil of mystery. A rumor has it we can expect it by June 14, but it may just be a rumor and nothing more.

 When it comes to the pricing, there is little we can tell you. The same principle as with the USA price will probably apply. This means around $700 for your own Galaxy S3 off the contract and SIM free. If you want to get it on a contract, then you will probably need to have a 2 year contract signed and a couple of hundred bucks ready as an extra charge.

 European readers have shown a great degree of interest in the new flagship device, while it seems like local carriers and Samsung have shown the exact opposite towards releasing it as soon and as widely as possible. How eager are you to get your hands on the S3 and its amazing specs and features? We are quite sure you can’t wait for it to come out in you local area, but you are probably concerned about the price tag the phone will carry.

The official announcement is that the Galaxy S3 will hit Europe by the end of May. This doesn’t give too much information to you that you may be searching for, so we tried to complete a list of major countries, their local carriers, prices and dates. As new information pops up we will update this article. Currently this a valid list starting from May 4th, if we make any updates we will change the date here to reflect that.

European Carriers of the Galaxy S3

 As you probably know, some of the more important names in the industry right now in Europe are Vodafone, Orange , O2  and T-Mobile. These companies have a lot of influence around the continent and will surely be the first to give their clients a chance to get the Samsung Galaxy S3, and hopefully they will do so at an affordable price.

Availability of the Galaxy S3 in the UK

Pricing: Pricing for contracts is not available, however for those buying off-contract, the device is listed from £499.95.

Pricing: not yet available for contracts. Off-contract, the device is listed from €597.

Pricing: Off contract the price should be set at around €649. For contracted purchases, no information is yet available.

Pricing: The device is listed from €600 (for off contract purchases) and is still unknown for contracted ones of course.

 So far, we can see that the major problem is no longer the waiting (we can hold our breath for another month now that we have seen it!), but the price tag of the Galaxy S3!
