Samsung has already, clearly stated that they will not announce the Galaxy S3 at the Mobile World Congress 2012 and there is much speculation about the event that will happen on the 22nd of March in France. We talked about this in detail in this previous post.

Today, however, we have a special little treat for all you who can’t wait to see the new Samsung Galaxy S3. We have some leaked photos of what is supposed to be the new S3. Here is the photo:

Samsung Galaxy S3 Image Leaked, the 'Flexible' Display Stimulates Imagination!

This flexible design isn’t so new as you might believe, but it’s unusual and not as reliable as usual methods, which has lead to it being overlooked and discarded in the past. Will Samsung bring forth a new revolution in this technology and provide us with something truly amazing?  The technology is called “paper display” and if the Samsung Galaxy S3 is really using this display system then perhaps it will be able to be curved and bent as the user wishes.

Another rumor that is out is that the battery with be a 2250 mAh battery, which is still behind Motorola’s Droid Razr Maxx that has a 3300 mAh battery that is one of the best on the market. But if Samsung Galaxy S3 used such a battery then the slim, flexible display couldn’t be possible as the phone would be too massive.

But what’s with this sudden design and how did Samsung get the idea? Reports by Korean media say that this idea was suggested back in 2011 by a student in Hongik who was, at that time,  majoring in visual communication design. The latest word on the wire is that the display can change according to a corresponding application. Here is an example, when a clock application starts, the shape will change into that of a desk clock. Sounds crazy doesn’t it? And admit it, you want one!

Samsung is hoping that the Galaxy S3 will be a generation of the new “genius phones” which will not only be better then their android rivals, but also the killers of iPhone devices!
